Belle Armorie Jewelry "Dancing in the Moonlight"

Last summer I attended  Metals Week in Idyllwild, Calif. and had an amazing week learning new skills from Joanna Goldberg.  Trapping found objects witch included prong settings.  You might remember this  bracelet I made during that week  in class.

The first piece I went to work on  when I got home was this necklace that I made to match my bracelet.  I was so proud of my new skill I wanted to send it in to Bella Armoire and share my excitement.

To my surprise I found it to be published in this most recent issue, in the Boutique section of Belle Armoire Jewelry Magazine!  Sweet!!!  :)

What really puts the icing on the cake is my friend Riki aka Riki's jewelry  ( rikijewelry.blogspot.com ) is featured  in this issue showing   SEVERAL  pages of technique based  pieces of   her beautiful work!  Check it out!
Hope you all are having  fun decking your halls!
Blessings,

Happiness

The sum of happiness is made up of a thousand details. A little kindness done one less fortunate gives the heart a beat of pleasure that no millinery or laces or jewels can possibly inspire.
To overcome prejudice is more satisfying than a ten-course dinner.
To subdue a difficulty and smother a selfish disire is to become strong and splendid.
If life is worth living at all, it is worth living in a state of progress and improvement.
If we moan and groan, filling the air with dissatisfaction and gloom, we can scarcely hope to partake of much contentment.
All you need is a good thump on the back by some cheerful soul who has faith in you, and promise to yourself that you will face your work and your worries cheerfully,-(Selected)
