Dorothy's Dream

Well here it is...I hope you can see my vision. Dorothy and Toto caught up in the twister before landing in OZ. Red crystals representing the fire balls the witch throws around and the blue and white checked gingham dress she wore. I felted my fabric so the details of the checks don't really show. On the back side of Dorthy's picture is the letter "D " for Dorthy or her dream . I tried to keep everything twisting and turning . Can you see my idea?
Scroll down to original post to join this challenge, I am hoping see more participants in the future. Thanks for coming by and let me know when you post YOUR "Dorthy's Dream".

Hi Stephani,
What exactly is this Wizard of Oz challenge? I am in a group where we make charms and our next theme is the Wizard of Oz. Just curious what your challenge is about. Thank you!

Happiness

The sum of happiness is made up of a thousand details. A little kindness done one less fortunate gives the heart a beat of pleasure that no millinery or laces or jewels can possibly inspire.
To overcome prejudice is more satisfying than a ten-course dinner.
To subdue a difficulty and smother a selfish disire is to become strong and splendid.
If life is worth living at all, it is worth living in a state of progress and improvement.
If we moan and groan, filling the air with dissatisfaction and gloom, we can scarcely hope to partake of much contentment.
All you need is a good thump on the back by some cheerful soul who has faith in you, and promise to yourself that you will face your work and your worries cheerfully,-(Selected)
