Stephani's Studio

A little peek inside my space...
Spring cleaning sometimes continues into summer for me. When I know I am having a house guest ,well that will get me in gear! What a wonderful way to get motivated to do some of the things that are so easy to put off until later. Whenever later comes around!!! You can actually see my table and counter tops in my studio. This is my opportunity to take some pictures and share my space with you! I can now look back and say "remember when... ". It's really hard for me create when things aren't all around me in a heap! It won't stay this way for long, so take a look now. ;) By the way ,I also freshened up my blog header and accessories. If anyone has any pointers on how to get three columns installed and put your own background in, I am looking for a tutorial! I am listing all the sweet resources I used for putting my blog header together at the bottom of this page. So many fun places to shop!

Speaking of house guest, I had the pleasure of having a little family reunion with my cousin Lynell. We had so much fun catching up on each others lives ! We have much more in common than we both realized!

Lynell has started a blog and would love to have you stop by for a visit. She draws beautifully and is working on a line of cards and gift tags. Lynell has raised birds for years! So... can you guess the theme? That's right ! Birds! We all love to use them in our art, so there you go!

Hurry up and fly over to http://www.greyskiesaviary.blogspot.com/ and say "Hi". Your visit would be such a blessing to her!

I noticed the K.C. Willis collage camp button on your sidebar. Did you take lessons from her? I am signed up for the 5-day camp in her Colorado studio this November! I am way excited. Isn't her art just awesome?

Happiness

The sum of happiness is made up of a thousand details. A little kindness done one less fortunate gives the heart a beat of pleasure that no millinery or laces or jewels can possibly inspire.
To overcome prejudice is more satisfying than a ten-course dinner.
To subdue a difficulty and smother a selfish disire is to become strong and splendid.
If life is worth living at all, it is worth living in a state of progress and improvement.
If we moan and groan, filling the air with dissatisfaction and gloom, we can scarcely hope to partake of much contentment.
All you need is a good thump on the back by some cheerful soul who has faith in you, and promise to yourself that you will face your work and your worries cheerfully,-(Selected)
