The Hurrier I Go the Behinder I Get!

So here are a few of the projects I've been working on the last few weeks.
I have to really chuckle at the title of my post! I remember a little paddle with the words " The Hurrier I Go The Behinder I Get!" hanging over my grandma's kitchen sink. I am not sure if it had the same meaning for her then , as it does for me now. She may have used that paddle on a few behinds ( not mine) and it is just speculation ,but it could have happened? I was never really sure what that" behinder" part really meant! Those simple unclear words, written on that paddle ,could be what kept me and my 13 other cousins in toe!
So where is this all going you may ask...Well I don't know ! The same place the majority of us all are going at this time of year I would imagine. Behinder! Ah! It's very clear to me now! I need a sign just like it ,to hang not in my kitchen, but in my Studio!
My precious grandson is growing a mile a minute. I just can't believe how fast this past year has gone bye. Last year I put him under the Christmas tree on a blanket and took his picture. Sweet baby boy...No way this year! Still so sweet... and every picture I take now is just so blurry! My grandson is definitely on the move and Grandma is runnin more behind! Chuckle Chuckle...

Stephani, my grandmother had a paddle too, don't think she didn't use it either.
Your jewelry is fabulous. Will you be teaching again soon? I'd love to take your class.

Happiness

The sum of happiness is made up of a thousand details. A little kindness done one less fortunate gives the heart a beat of pleasure that no millinery or laces or jewels can possibly inspire.
To overcome prejudice is more satisfying than a ten-course dinner.
To subdue a difficulty and smother a selfish disire is to become strong and splendid.
If life is worth living at all, it is worth living in a state of progress and improvement.
If we moan and groan, filling the air with dissatisfaction and gloom, we can scarcely hope to partake of much contentment.
All you need is a good thump on the back by some cheerful soul who has faith in you, and promise to yourself that you will face your work and your worries cheerfully,-(Selected)
