2nd Annual Challenge of Color Blog Hop

Welcome!
My first" Challenge of Color Blog Hop" and I am a little out of my comfort zone.:)  I am looking forward to visiting your blogs and seeing all the creative design outcomes of this color challenge.
To the left is a list of all the beautiful bloggers who are participating in the challenge.  Hopefully my links will take you were you want to go. :)

Below is my color challenge designed by Jessica at Design Seeds.  Dew Tones!  Isn't it a lovely pallet?  On the bottom is my piece.  Unfortunately now that they are side by side, I can see I a way off!!!  Just imagine those blue beads gone and replaced with a mauve or more of a  purple tone.  Whoops!

Until next time,
Thank-you for stopping by!:)

It's still counts! It's your work of art. Beautiful

I think there is a tolerance margin when picking up colours. It would be almost impossible to reproduce the exact tone, I think.

Lovely focal, by the way!

There's definitely a tolerance margin - one of the colours in my palette looks grey on our family computer and light amethyst on my laptop - I went with the light amethyst! You've made a beautiful necklace.

I think the colors are close enough! It's the fun of the challenge that really counts anyway! Great job!

It's all up to the artist's interpretation on the colors and your necklace is lovely. The colors are so soothing.

Ooooo Stephanie - I don't think you are 'off' at all - in fact I think your design is right on! I love the focal - did you make it? And the wirework on the stone is spectacular - you've inspired me to try it out myself. Lovely job! :)

The wire wrapped focal looks great with such wonderful colors...is it lampwork or a natural stone? Your palette was really beautiful....I don't think it paramount that it matches perfectly...it is for inspiration really...so if you want to change it, then that's ok, too! A great design.

Great Necklace Stephani! I have to ask, what's the gemstone that you wire wrapped for your focal? I totally love the look!

Have a terrific evening!

To subdue a difficulty and smother a selfish disire is to become strong and splendid.
