The Wicked Witch

For the month of September my "Wizard of Oz" challenge is the Wicked Witch. Just in time it seems, for Halloween! She's not looking too wicked, but she does have a green face. What do you think?

Ready for some news! I have joined the crowds and opened my very own little shop! With a little help from my friends and just the click of your heels, you can visit anytime!:) Here is the address Mixed Media Collage Artist & More (http://www.mmcamarketplace.com/). I have just listed several pieces of jewelry and will be adding more soon. Who knows my little "Wicked Witch" may be in the mix soon. I know it may be after hours, but you are a mouse and you can slip right under the door anytime you wish ! Thanks so much for looking!

Hi Steff, thanks for stopping by my blog, and voting. I agree with you! And congrats on your latest article in BAJ, I haven't gotten my copy for this publication, lost in the mail? Look forward to seeing the article. And congrats on your on line store! Fabulous. Good luck with that. See you soon! Hugs. Riki

Happiness

The sum of happiness is made up of a thousand details. A little kindness done one less fortunate gives the heart a beat of pleasure that no millinery or laces or jewels can possibly inspire.
To overcome prejudice is more satisfying than a ten-course dinner.
To subdue a difficulty and smother a selfish disire is to become strong and splendid.
If life is worth living at all, it is worth living in a state of progress and improvement.
If we moan and groan, filling the air with dissatisfaction and gloom, we can scarcely hope to partake of much contentment.
All you need is a good thump on the back by some cheerful soul who has faith in you, and promise to yourself that you will face your work and your worries cheerfully,-(Selected)
