While the Rain Came Down

As you may know California has been hit pretty hard with some record breaking rain storms this past week.  While the rains came down,down,down, from the big water spout  I've been whileing away  hours, waiting for the sun to come out and dry up all the rain. I've resorted to deep cleaning, re-arranging furniture,and sorting.  I am hoping all this much needed domestic display of energy will give me the freedom,  without guilt,  to nuture any on coming urges to burrie myself in any creative vinue I desire.  Sounds like a plan to me! 
A few weeks ago I started " Manipulations and Memories Online Image Editing Class",with DJ Pettitt. I am learning so many new skills, I want to share a few pictures of my new creations.   Let me know what you think. I am amazing myself and  I am really enjoying every minute of the whole process, even times when I am ready to give up! LOL
So here goes...

This is a cover for our church directory that I designed!


This was a masking exersize! It is a combination of a two pictures taken just about a year apart!


This was actually the 1st exersize for class, the tree and landscape is DJ's .  I added color, cows , people ,words and wallpaper!


Something to Crow About!  I ran out and took some new pictures to play with.
These are all my own images.

"Reflections" below is where I have progressed to so far.

WOW, Steff! you are learning so much. I love all of the layering and textures. DJ is one amazing artist and how wonderful to take a class from her. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to seeing other creations.

Haven't done masking. Absolutely love it Stephani! The church bulletin turned out great. I am sure they appreciated your talent =)

Happiness
