Teaching

I am teaching again and I am so excited about it!  Classes will be starting  really soon  , so if you haven't already made some fun weekend plans for July 24, 2010, maybe I can tempt you to join me in class !:) We are going to have some fun playing with a material called Faux Bone and mixed metal piece that will be sure to inspire you to try it in your own designs. Here is a picture of the piece we will be recreating.
The Class will be held at :
Jewell's Beads
 1443 Grand Ave.
Grover Beach , Ca.93433
July 24, 2010
10:00 a.m.-4:30p.m.
call to reserve a spot: 1-805-928-4611 or toll free 1-888-548-5632
Thought I might share a few new pieces I have also been working on using Faux Bone.
Let me know what you think.  I am pretty happy with the results.  I have been so inspired  by the wonderful artist Joanna Goldberg lately.  Are you familiar with her?  I just recently found out about  her and just can't tell you where I have been! :)
Oh, just FYI  I will be teaching more this summer at Jewell's Beads and also Naturally Jennifer's beads in San Luis Obispo , Ca. I will be posting those classes in the next few days. Hope you have a great weekend!

Enjoy!

Happiness

The sum of happiness is made up of a thousand details. A little kindness done one less fortunate gives the heart a beat of pleasure that no millinery or laces or jewels can possibly inspire.
To overcome prejudice is more satisfying than a ten-course dinner.
To subdue a difficulty and smother a selfish disire is to become strong and splendid.
If life is worth living at all, it is worth living in a state of progress and improvement.
If we moan and groan, filling the air with dissatisfaction and gloom, we can scarcely hope to partake of much contentment.
All you need is a good thump on the back by some cheerful soul who has faith in you, and promise to yourself that you will face your work and your worries cheerfully,-(Selected)
