Skin Armor Barrier Foam



A Handy tip for mixed media messes! Just wanted to share a little something that I have been using for years .  If you have never tried it before you may want to give it a go.  Way back when I was a  floral designer I used a barrier that came in a tube.   It was really great during the holidays when working with alot of Christmas greens that have a sticky sap.  I would just squeeze a bit from the tube and rub into my hands like a hand lotion to create a protective barrier.  I haven't been able to find the one in a tube for awhile now, but I have found a replacement that works just as well.  Working with alot of different sticky glues,resins and mediums can be a mess to get off in a hurry, if you are like me I'm in it up to my elbows! 
This barrier is a  foam, like hair moose.  It squirts out generously so you only need about a quarters worth in the palm of your hand.   If you  do alot of  gluing  you might want to have it in your studio as a staple.    It is a large can so it will last for a  long time. ;)

Happiness
