Hi There!
Just wanted to get a quick post in today, it's been so long! Things are really picking up around here, my son's wedding drawing near June 2nd is the big day! Needless to say, I have a full plate in front of me, I am working on getting all my wedding duties organized and the prep work done for my list. :) I sure hope I don't forget anything!
My son moved out and into their apartment last weekend , my whole house is in an up roar! I have painted his room (between tears) in the last two days! That room has been through alot of changes in the last 25 years and full of wonderful memories of him growing up.
No time for crying now, I am now trying to put together an indoor studio and I am exhausted! It's such a good workspace for storing and putting together wedding decorations! I will have to share photos of the wedding ideas and new studio space later.
The weather has been just beautiful here and I am hoping my hydrangeas will be in full bloom by the wedding! sigh... They would really come in handy! :) Here is what they looked like a few years ago. I had alot more last year!
I haven't had enough time to play artist lately, but I managed to get this one done last week. I am really pleased with the way she turned out.
Until next time...

Happiness
The sum of happiness is made up of a thousand details. A little kindness done one less fortunate gives the heart a beat of pleasure that no millinery or laces or jewels can possibly inspire.
To overcome prejudice is more satisfying than a ten-course dinner.
To subdue a difficulty and smother a selfish disire is to become strong and splendid.
If life is worth living at all, it is worth living in a state of progress and improvement.
If we moan and groan, filling the air with dissatisfaction and gloom, we can scarcely hope to partake of much contentment.
All you need is a good thump on the back by some cheerful soul who has faith in you, and promise to yourself that you will face your work and your worries cheerfully,-(Selected)
