Challenge of Music Blog Hop Today!

You're here !  Hi! I hope you enjoy my song choice and the piece of  jewelry I created .  I actually created this necklace a few years ago , it is one of my personal favorites.   When I designed this necklace I immediately named it " Dancing in the Moonlight".  I just loved the sparkle of the rhinestones and the crystal. It spoke moonlight, twinkling lights and good dance beat.  While preparing for this hop ,  I have discovered (Alyson Stoner) a new artists version of  this old favorite of mine. Hope you enjoy her too.:)

"Dancing In The Moonlight" is the title song on the 1973 King Harvest album.[1] The track was released as a single in 1972 and it reached #13 on the Billboard Hot 100. They released other singles but these were never able to match the success of "Dancing in the Moonlight". The track used a Alyson Rae Stoner (born August 11, 1993)[1] is an American actress, dancer and singer. Stoner is known for her roles in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody (as Max), Cheaper by the Dozen and Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (as Sarah Baker), Step Up and Step Up 3 (as Camille Gage), and Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2 (as Caitlyn Gellar). She has been a background dancer for several artists, such as Missy Elliott, Eminem, Outkast and Will Smith. She is also known as the voice of Isabella in the Disney Channel series Phineas and Ferb.Wurlitzer electric piano throughout.

Vintage rhinestones, etched copper , sterling silver wire & brass chain.

My necklace was published in this issue.

Thanks so much for stopping bye,  I am looking forward to the hop!

Hugs,

Hadn't heard that song in a while. Great song! (I'm trying really hard to remember what tv show they used it in...)

Lovely necklace -- I really like the mix of earthy metal and clear crystal! Yum!

I love this version of the song! She has a beautiful voice, and I love that the song just plays automatically.

Loving the piece you created! So sparkly. :)

I like the contrast of the metal (brass? ) with the rhinestones, and I like the crescent shape to the focal. Not a song I am familiar with, but a nice pairing.

I do remember this issue! My metals teacher, Melissa Manley had a big spread in this issue and it was actually what brought me to her in the first place, this is great!

Super fun! And it was published too, that is so cool! I love Alison Stoner as we are big Phineas and Ferb fans in our house ("Whatcha doin?") And now I learned someone else who shares my same birthday, August 11. Of course I could be her mother, but still! I am glad that you could participate in this fun hop. I am learning so much about your personalities through this intimate glimpse into your music.
Enjoy the day!

Happiness

The sum of happiness is made up of a thousand details. A little kindness done one less fortunate gives the heart a beat of pleasure that no millinery or laces or jewels can possibly inspire.
To overcome prejudice is more satisfying than a ten-course dinner.
To subdue a difficulty and smother a selfish disire is to become strong and splendid.
If life is worth living at all, it is worth living in a state of progress and improvement.
If we moan and groan, filling the air with dissatisfaction and gloom, we can scarcely hope to partake of much contentment.
All you need is a good thump on the back by some cheerful soul who has faith in you, and promise to yourself that you will face your work and your worries cheerfully,-(Selected)
